Air Fryer Bacon Wrapped Jalapeño Poppers have a creamy cheesy center with the nice crunch from the bacon and a fun kick from the Jalapeño! Whenever we go out for a beer we always order jalapeño poppers. Usually they’re not that spicy and they are always fried. So, making an air fryer popper really cuts the calories while keeping the same yumminess of the original poppers.
Several years ago we played a joke on some of our friends. We met up every week at a local pub and always ordered jalapeño poppers (and several other appetizers) and everyone always complained that the poppers weren’t that spicy. Of course, we became friends with the pub owner. So, one day, we took him a large bag of Habanero peppers to make the poppers for our weekly gathering. Let’s just say… the night the Habanero peppers were served, there wasn’t anyone saying the poppers weren’t spicy enough. They were so spicy!!!! And yes, there were a few more beers drank that night!
The really great thing-making these Air Fryer Jalapeño Poppers at home is so easy and they taste better. You can change up the peppers. When we have fresh Habanero’s from the garden we will make some Habanero poppers!!!
Jalapeño Poppers so Simple!!
Select jalapeños that are between 3 to 4 inches long and are big enough to stuff.
Cut the Peppers in half, Cut the white part out of the pepper, Mix Cheese and Cream Cheese (we use whipped cream cheese) together, Fill the peppers with the Cheese.
Wrap the peppers with Bacon, use a toothpick to hold the bacon in place. Don’t forget to remove the toothpick before serving!
Place the Peppers in the Air Fryer, Cook and ENJOY!!!!

Poppers are so much fun to eat!!! They are great for game day, watching TV or enjoying some fun time outside. Some of the other appetizers we love to make with these poppers are: of course Avocados, Chips and Salsa, Bloody Mary’s, French fries, or your favorite appetizer.
Air Fryer Jalapeno Poppers
Jalapeno’s stuffed with a creamy cheese then wrapped in crispy bacon. These Air Fryer Jalapeno Poppers are easy to make and better than fried
- 2 Jalapeno Peppers
- 4 Slices Bacon
- 1 Ounce Cheddar Cheese
- 2 Tablespoons Cream Cheese
- 4 Toothpicks
- Cooking Spray
Cut peppers lengthwise
Remove white center of the peppers
In a bowl mix together cream cheese and cheddar cheese
Fill each pepper half with 1/2 Tablespoon of the cheese mixture
Wrap bacon around each pepper
Place toothpick in end to hold the bacon to the pepper
Spray air fryer basket with cooking spray
Place bacon wrapped peppers in air fryer
Cook on 400 Degrees for 6 minutes
Check peppers to see how they are cooking. Cook for an additional 4 minutes or until bacon is the crispness you like
