These Air Fryer Garlic Parmesan Chicken Nuggets are the Best!!! I know you read that in every recipe but these really are full of flavor and have a nice crunch without using flour or breadcrumbs. This delicious healthy garlic parmesan chicken nuggets recipe takes about 5 minutes to put together and about 16 minutes to cook in the air fryer.
Garlic Parmesan Chicken Nuggets
Chicken Nuggets are great as a snack or dinner. You can also add them to a salad. It’s kind of like a chicken nugget that acts as a crouton. We love making a nice big salad and adding these chicken nuggets to the top. Then lightly drizzle some Creamy Italian Salad dressing or, my favorite, a Creamy Blue Cheese Dressing on the salad…YUM!
When we have these we also like to serve them with hot sauce. But I also enjoy them with a Honey Mustard dipping sauce. I have to say, these nuggets are so good they really don’t need any dipping sauce. But use your imagination. If your kids like ketchup that would also work.
Easy to Make
This might be one of the easiest snacks to make in the air fryer. Yes, I know frozen treats like taquitos or fried cheese can be tossed in an air fryer, but the cool thing about these chicken nuggets is you know everything that is going in them.
Three simple Prep steps. 1. Mix the seasoning, 2. Cut the Chicken into bite size pieces. 3. Toss the seasoning mix over the chicken
Put the Chicken in the Air Fryer. Spray the chicken with cooking spray. Cook for 10 minutes at 400 degrees. Flip the Chicken and cook for an additional 6 minutes.
Enjoy these chicken nuggets as a fun snack with your favorite dip. Or toss them in a salad.
TIPS: Garlic Parmesan Chicken Nuggets
- Use chicken breast to make the nuggets. This saves some calories. The Chicken breast can be substituted for Chicken thighs if you prefer them.
- Use a meat thermometer to make sure to cook the chicken until it reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees
Air Fryer Garlic Parmesan Chicken Nuggets
Just like fried! These Air Fryer Garlic Parmesan Chicken Nuggets are juicy and flavorful without any flour or breading.
- 1 Pound Chicken Breast
- 1/3 Cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper (Optional – If you want it spicy)
- Cooking Spray (We use Butter Spray)
Cut Chicken Breast into bite size pieces
Mix together Parmesan Cheese, Salt, Garlic Powder, Cayenne Pepper
Toss The Chicken Breast in the Spice mixture
Spray air fryer with Cooking Spray
Place Chicken in Air Fryer. Cook at 400° for 10 minutes
Flip the Chicken. Cook for additional 6 minutes at 400°
Lightly spray the Chicken with cooking spray (We use Butter Spray)
When Chicken is done Remove it from the Air Fryer
Sever with your favorite sauce and Enjoy!!!
